DOBRICH, Tomo (Tom)

February 27, 1958 - November 25, 2021

63 years. Passed away on November 25, 2021. Beloved husband of Zaneta (Janet) for 27 years. Loving father to Isaiah and Zachariah. Dear brother to Mary. Son-in-law to and survived by Zora and Vidin Rapovski. Predeceased by his parents Milan and Elizabeth Dobrich. Brother-in-law to Paul Rapovski, Vesna and Vlado Jovanoski. Also survived by Emily Dobrich, Amanda, Melissa and Daniel Jovanoski and their families. Tomo was the CEO of N&D Property Management. He loved reading, action movies, History and Politics. Tomo will be wholeheartedly missed by all his loved ones. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Prayers Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. Tomo will rest at Grachanica Serbian Orthodox Church, 1960 Meldrum Rd. on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. till the time for the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Fr Vladimir Vranic officiating. DIKLICH, Sofia

May 5, 1924 - November 5, 2021

Passed away peacefully on November 25, 2021 in her 98th year. She was born in Selo Sveti Marko in Lika, Yugoslavia in 1924. Loving mother of Roy (Cathy) and Dusanka (Denny) Jezdic. Predeceased by her husband Vladimir (1983), parents Nikola and Vasilija, brothers Nikola and Gojko and sisters Nevenka and Marija. Survived by her grandchildren Stefan, Nadia (Dejan), Aleksandar, Kristina, and Daniella as well as her brother Branko Borcic. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She belonged to the greatest generation that survived the depression, WWII, and refugee status until finally arriving in Canada in 1951. She had a great sense of humour and her generosity sponsored over 100 descendants in North America that directly or indirectly passed through her home. Thank you to the staff at Huron Lodge for providing a peaceful and dignified passing. Thank you to Father Vladimir Vranic for the spiritual support , lovely services at Grachanica Serbian Orthodox Chruch and her internment at Windsor Memorial Gardens. JOKSIC, Ruzica (nee Todorovic)

August 10, 1935 - August 19, 2021

Passed away on August 19, 2021 with her loving family at her side.
Born in Podinarje-Polaca, Knin.  Left Knin to join in with her brother Petar and sister-in-law Darinka Todorovic-Podgorica.  She met her late husband Zivorad in Podgorica who she was married for 24 years.  Ruzica moved to Canada in 1991 and lived with her son Dragan and daughter-in-law for 30 beautiful years.  She was surrounded by her grandkids and family until her last breath.  Loving wife of the late Zivorad Joksic (1990).  Cherished mother of son Dragan (Branka) Joksic and daughters Dragica (Zdravko) Medvidovic and Slavica (Blazo) Vukcevic.  Predeceased by her loving parents Savo and Milica Todorovic. Ruzica will be missed by her grandchildren Zlatko Vukcevic, Aleksandra (Milenko) Dubak, Sandra Joksic (Aleksandar Dragicevic), Tanja (Mirko) Andic, Ana Joksic, Aleksandar Joksic, Marija Medvidovic, Tina Medvidovic and Nikola Medvidovic.  Sister of Sava Malic (late Nikola), the late Petar & Darinka Todorovic, Ilija (Roksanda) Todorovic  Jelica (Ilija) Dragicevic, and Jovan (Emila) Todorovic. Ruzica loved gardening, reading from her iPad, reading books, cooking homecooked meals from her vegetable garden, going to church, being with her family and raising her grandchildren. BOZANICH, Dennis

June 2, 1959 - August 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and uncle, Dennis (Dusan) Bozanich, on August 9, 2021 at Metropolitan Campus. Cherished youngest son of the late Nerka (1976) and Dragan (1970) Bozanich. Beloved brother of Smilja (Nikola), Nikola (1977), Milica (2003), Danilo, Bogdan (2013), Steve, Mileva, Mildred, Violet, Michael, Darlene, and Dawn (David), special uncle and great-uncle to many, and special cousin to Radmila Swann and Nikola Swann. Despite a hard life, Dennis persevered and never gave up. He was an accomplished musician, and used that skill to put himself through university, earning multiple degrees including those in Economics, Sociology, and Education. He spoke multiple languages. He was a published poet and songwriter. It was important to Dennis to give back, and so he used his considerable skills as a counsellor at New Beginnings. He also played guitar and sang for seniors suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, and volunteered as a Big Brother for a number of years. He was generous, caring, and quick to reach out to others in need. He loved his family greatly to the end. Dennis will be known for his bravery, fortitude, resilience, and amazing strength. POPOV, Illean (Ilinka)

August 3, 1925 - February 1, 2021

Born August 3, 1925 in Vranjevo, Banat in the former Yugoslavia. Passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021 at the age of 95. Adored daughter of the late Pavle (Cika Paja) (1992) and Zagorka (1998) Popov. Predeceased by her older brother Nicholas (2017) and sister-in-law Patricia (2020) Popov and Kumovi Olga (2013) and Alex (2015) Calich. Leaves behind niece Lark Popov and husband George Vona and great-niece Aurora. She will be deeply missed by her goddaughter Illean Madrid, Kristina and Marcus Pederson along with many dear friends. Illean worked at Bendix Automotive of Canada Ltd from 1943 until her retirement in 1981. As a founding member, she sang in Gracanica Choir's tenor section since 1949, served as Sunday School Director from 1952 - 1987, was a long-time board member of SNF Lodge 345 "Srpska Kruna", a founding member of the Serbian Heritage Women's Society and served as English Secretary for the Gracanica Church Board for many years. She enjoyed travelling with her friends, reading, listening to music, attending Windsor Symphony concerts and Stratford plays and musicals, bowling as well as tackling the New York Times crosswords. Her favourite quote was "True friends are like diamonds, precious but rare, false friends are like autumn leaves found everywhere." Thankfully, she was surrounded by true friends. Thank you to the dedicated staff at Extendicare Southwood Lakes for their wonderful care.
